Class I Division 1 Certification

Taurus Engineering offers a selection of products that have been certified by the Canadian Standards Association for use in Class I, Division 1 hazardous locations within the United States and Canada and bear the CSA Certification Mark shown with the adjacent indicators "C" and "US".

The CSA mark designates certification and compliance to applicable standards for safety and/or performance written or administered by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Canadian Standards Association (CSA), National Sanitation Foundation (NSF), and others.

All Taurus product designs, regardless of classification or certification, are extensively tested at pressures, temperatures, voltages and currents that stress each component to customer specifications. Additional product design testing is accomplished through use of Finite Element Analysis simulations as well as industry standard "real-world" testing and analysis. In addition, each and every product is individually tested prior to shipment to insure reliability.
